London Kim, MA, MFA

Tutor

London was named after his birthplace (continuing a family tradition) and grew up in the UK. He graduated from Oxford University with an MA (Hons) in French and Italian Language and Literature before realizing his dream of living in New York City, where he earned an MFA in Theatre from The Actors Studio Drama School at The New School University. He now lives in Los Angeles.

London has taught English at middle and high schools in Paris, France, and at language institutes in South Korea and Los Angeles. He also taught a range of subjects—including college prep—at an afterschool academy in Los Angeles. His favorite part of teaching is watching students become inspired to learn beyond what is taught in the classroom.

In his free time, London enjoys teaching Italian to friends and family (or anyone interested!), playing the piano, following Italian football, and custom-building Lego creations—from cassette recorders to basketball arenas.
